About Me
Anissa (Ying) Chak was born and raised in Hong Kong, SAR, and is currently a photographer based in Seattle, Washington. Her work centers on capturing the quiet, meaningful moments of everyday life—preserving stories as they unfold and creating images that allow memories to live on.
Through her lens, Anissa is drawn to authenticity: the in-between moments, the emotions that often go unnoticed, and the beauty found in real human connection.
Outside of photography, she enjoys designing, biking, staying active, and spending time over a good cup of coffee—simple joys that continue to inspire her creative perspective.
Her work has been featured on Nikon Asia and Nikon Hong Kong’s official Instagram platforms, and she previously served as the Photography Lead for The Daily Evergreen.
